Workers injured on the job often receive $6,000 for a computer and classes online.
Workers who are injured on the job are entitled to special funds for classes and equipment such as computers, under California law.
Since 1988 we have trained injured workers through worker's compensation plans.
Our training has been funded by all major insurance companies.
Many injured workers never learned computer skills and now need them. Others have learned older software, or haven't used the programs for a while, and just need to update or renew their skills.
Our training is one-on-one. The teaching goes at your pace, and you can learn much more easily than in a classroom where 20 people are waiting to ask questions.
We also teach speech-recognition, which lets you talk into your computer instead of typing. This is a great solution for people with injuries, or who don't want injuries. And yes, the keyboard and mouse still work. Frequently Asked Questions
